Dr. Richard Kranzley is a high-energy, compassionate coach with
nearly three decades of professional leadership in management, consulting
and training.
Richard's background includes work for organizations where he personally
led major initiatives in start-up operations, entrepreneurial ventures,
strategic planning, team development, program development and organizational
change. Part of Richard's effectiveness in working with clients
as an outside consultant is a direct result of his experience working
within the corporate environment. He understands the pressures,
demands and dynamics of each client's corporate culture.
One of Richard's strengths is coaching teams toward peak performance
by creating an environment of respect and trust where differences
are valued, strengths utilized and barriers to success overcome.
As a result of his work, relationships become more honest and energy
is focused on achieving results without the distractions of dysfunctional
behavior.
Richard is a highly respected Executive Coach and Team Performance
Facilitator who has been certified as a "Career Management Fellow"
by an international board which recognizes the top professionals
in the field worldwide.
He has worked for such diverse clients as Newland Communities, Mercy Health Partners, Avon Products, Hillenbrand
Industries, Cincinnati Bell, Kellogg, Daimler Chrysler, AT& T, Eli
Lilly, General Electric, Cinergy, University of Cincinnati and Catholic
Healthcare Partners.
During his years in Career Management, Richard worked with more
than 5,000 individuals in industries that include manufacturing,
consumer products, banking, technology, health care, insurance and
non-profit organizations.
As a Senior Trainer he has conducted hundreds of hours of workshops
on subjects including: Conflict Management, Communication Skills,
Decision Making, Problem Solving, Group Process, Leadership Skills,
Goal Setting, Group Facilitation, Organizational Change, and Cultural
Transformation.
Richard holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology, and a Doctorate
in Organizational Behavior. He has been an O'Brien Group associate since 1999.
In his limited spare time, Richard is a photographer, pianist and
craftsman of stained glass windows. He and his wife live on a mini-farm
in Indiana with their son and twin daughters.
